Sunday Rewind

I forgot to update you guys yesterday. [Sorry Ron] I was just going to lay down for 5 minutes and here it is Monday morning. Mom and I both slept thru the night. [Yeah!]

Sunday morning Wanda, Donnie and Susan made it our way. Mom was up for most of their visit which was really nice. Mom hasn't thrown up since early Saturday morning. Wow.. This is the longest span of no spewing we have had since she came home.

Julie and Patty will be here today at some time. Mom is still sleeping this morning. She got up briefly to go potty. (Number 1.. We are hoping for a big Number 2 today. Even if you don't eat, you still poop.)

I need to thank Ken and Mary, Judy and Cindy for the food that landed in my house Sunday. My family is very thankful. [Thanks for taking care of them while I am taking care of Mom.]

Wendy sang in church Sunday. I held the phone so Mom could hear. Will let her update you guys on that. [Hey Stupid Head - Put something in the blog about what you guys sang last night okay?]

Robin,
I read this blog everyday sometimes more. I am so thankful for all you are doing & I am sure Wendy too.
Someday you will look back and say how did I do all that.
I wish I could come visit,& kiss your mom, clean your house, grocery shop for you, put some made meals in the freezer and then rub your mom's feet. Please tell her I LOVE HER and tell her I will be seeing her in heaven. Twice a year I will be over to her heavenly home and both of us will not have to worry about snoring to loud. Ms. Pat, I thank you for your friendship I have been blessed by you. I will truly miss you. I know you are going to a better place of peace and love and we all will be there to join you.
God love you more than anything and wants cashmere sheets for you.
I love you Ana from Minnesota.

Dear Wendy & Robin...
Your mom's service today was cheerful and upbeat and I'm sure she smiled on all that was sung and spoken in her behalf. Pat was one of the most unique persons I'd ever met and her life obviously touched many. Wendy, your song was endearing and precious and I prayed for God to give you the strength to complete it. I know that words like that will be a great comfort in the coming days and weeks ahead. Robin, your words, too, were heartfelt and I pray that as you both reflect this coming Mother's Day, you'll be comforted by the treasure she was and the memories she left behind for all of you. Grieving is hard and it's difficult (I've been through it many times)but it's also necessary in order to heal...and remember, God is so desirous to surround you with His precious grace and mercy and cuddle you both with His endless love. Just picture yourselves being held in His arms as He looks with great compassion upon you. He sorrows with us! I'm delighted Pat's hunger and desire for God's relationship was fulfilled and He gave her the dying grace she needed to the very end. God bless you both. I know the ache and void that's left at such a time as this. Be comforted knowing prayers will continue to go up in your behalf. Take care...
